Many well known scientists working in Africa committed ape-man fraud. Most of these fraudulent acts are unknown by the public and are disclosed for the first time in this miniseries. In all, 60 acts of fraud were carried out by Dr. Louis Leakey, Richard Leakey, Dr. Phillip Tobias, Dr. Raymond Dart, and Dr. Robert Broom. The frauds included: Altering fossils, changing skull sizes, altering photographs, and telling lies (a near death confession by Dr. Raymond Dart to his colleague Dr. Rober Broom). These scientists worked at many well known institutions, including: The National Museum of South Africa, The National Museum of Kenya, and the University of the Witwatersrand.
